Events during January 2002Institute Campaign in Naokot:An Institute Campaign was being held in Naokot Cluster during first month (January) of this year(2002), campaign started on 1st January 2002 in Akoto Deh near the Naokot town. Auxiliary Board member Mrs. Amatu’l-Wadood Nazli and National Coordinator with some other friends as well as friends from Naokot Cluster participated. The number of participants were not very high. However Books 1, 2, 3 and 4 were completed by small groups of friends. This provided a good opportunity for ladies to interact and learn from the visiting ladies. Throughout the week whole villagers would gather for night sessions and pray, chant and sing to gather. Another drive held in Haido Deh during 20 to 25th January where all those who have completed any book or wish to start book 1 was invited. Accordingly this camp was also held. The number of participants remained very much similar to than in Akoto. Books 1, 3 and 4 were studied by 25 friends. As a third drive to this effort we invited all those who had completed book 3 and 4 to attend a camp in Hyderabad to study next books from 31st January evening to 5th February evening. In total in this camp 18 friends participated among them 5 completed book 6. |
